Chalet Nyon is a much loved ski chalet with many of its guests returning each year. It is an individual, 14 bed property with bags of character and apine charm. It benefits from an open fire and cosy lounge/dining area. An added bonus is the ski-lift is situated next door which accesses one of the best peaks in the area, Pointe de Nyon - which is unbeatable in the snow - has fast cruising red and green runs with incredible Off Piste opportunities. You can ski/ride back to within 80 metres of the chalet. The hot tub is now outdoors with views of the forest and mountains.
This ski chalet was totally refurbished in 2005 to a very good standard and the décor in the chalet has a very modern feel to it, mixed with cosy Savoyard style. The balcony of the chalet looks out over the mountains and has stunning views up into the Vallee de la Manche.

Aside from sitting right next to a lift and close to a ski slope, chalet Nyon sits within a small satellite of apartments and chalets called “Nyon” within Morzine. There is a small brasserie just moments from the chalet but it is fair to say that the better nightlife and shops are about 900 metres or a 15 minute walk away. There is a bus that runs into the town centre and stops outside the chalet
The lift that sits next door to the chalet takes you straight up to the top of the Les Gets and Morzine sectors, with rapid and easy access to a wealth of excellent skiing for your ski holidays. |
