Chalet Koala is a Traditional French style chalet, with pine panelling, wooden beams and natural stone. Sleeps 20 in 9 spacious, light and airy bedrooms, catering for families, groups and individuals.

Starting in the basement you will find 2 games rooms, a sauna, drying room and ski storage area. Moving up to the groud floor you will find five of the bedrooms, two double room with bunks, two twin/double rooms and one double room with an extra single bed. There are also three toilets, two shower rooms and one bathroom. All the bedrooms have sinks.

The first floor houses a spacious living area with log fire and honesty bar. There is also an informal dining area leading onto a large sunny balcony with panoramic views of the Ardent Valley. There are two further bedrooms on this floor, one double room and one twin room with extra bunks, making this floor ideal for a family with four children. There are sinks in both bedrooms, one toilet and a bathroom. The chalet kitchen is also on this floor. Finally on the second floor is the last two bedrooms, one a double with two singles and the other a double with a single, a toilet and bathroom.

We take Food & Drink very seriously at Chalet Koala. A continental buffet breakfast is provided every day. If you would prefer Full English or need a packed Lunch just ask our helpful staff. In the Winter after a hard day on the slopes what's better than to come back to a freshly made pot of coffee and a range of fresh cakes and biscuits. Then there is the Evening Meal, something we here at Chalet Koala think is something to look forward to!

A full home cooked three-course meal is served 6 nights a week in winter, with plenty of the local wine. You can expect a mix of traditional savoyard dishes with some more exotic dishes from further a-field. Special Dietry Requirements are easily catered for, please advise before the start of your holiday, and children's meals are served earlier during the winter for your further relaxation. We provide tea & coffee making facilities in the dining room. There is also squash available for children. You will also find a well stocked 'honesty bar' that provides a wide range of soft and alcoholic drinks and confectionary for a small fee.

The chalet is equipped with a vast range of games and entertainments to keep both young and old occupied. The basement has a full-size Ping-Pong table, darts board and table-football. There is also a Playstation 2 room, complete with a range of games to keep "the kids" entertained. In the lounge there is satellite TV, a video and DVD player. There is also a karoake machine for the willing! We have an in-house bodyworks therapist specializing in sports injuries and remedial massage, with treatments including shiatsu, holistic massage, reflexology, Indian head massage and healing.

In the Garden there is a splash-pool and sun loungers during the summer. There is a large garden table and chairs along with a bbq which guests are welcome to use on the warm summer evenings. We also provide a range of games, including boules, badminton and croquet. The garden is large, secluded and well away from any roads, making it ideal for the kids to play in. We have plenty of sledges that you are welcome to use.

Morzine is a heaven for winter sports enthusiastics of all levels and is probably the best equipped resort in the Alps, allowing you to try and enjoy all the sports and activities of the season.
