B.A.S.E jumping provide a whole new level of reward and a whole new level of risk. This is not for Pink poodles and you must accept that your skydiving knowledge is but the basis of this essentially different sport. Armed with the correct training however you dramatically reduce your calculated risk. Base jumping is not illegal but it is dangerous. If you want to learn more get in touch. Requirements to take part in our BASE course: If you want to start BASE jumping you must first have at least 200 skydives. Skydiving will introduce you to body positions, canopy flight, canopy landings, and provide you with a basic understanding of parachuting.
During your first 200 skydives, you must learn to consistently land your canopy inside a 30' diameter circle. Keep in mind that most BASE jumps offer some of the worst landing areas often strewn with trees, rocks and other hazards. BASE jumping without learning how to skydive first is not a smart decision and can easily injure or kill you.
This course offers a comprehensive introduction to all aspects of the sport from equipment and techniques to ethics and philosophy. It is the product of our experience jumping, teaching and learning. A written manual, reference and resource materials, and use of equipment are all provided. Instruction is one on one and takes between 3 and 4 days to complete.
The course is broken into two modules.
