These courses provide you with the exciting opportunity to learn to sail in Australia’s premier sailing ground, the tropical sailing paradise of the Whitsunday Islands. Not only will you learn a new skill, or add to any previous experience you may all ready have, you will enjoy the fun of cruising, swimming and snorkelling in The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
Our sailing school, an accredited Yachting Australia training centre, has been operating in this area for over ten years and provides a personalised service and training excellence.
There are three courses available to you depending on your previous experience or qualifications. All three courses are available for either 6 days/5 nights or 13 days/12 nights.
1) International Crew Certificate: Beginner (no previous experience required)
2) International Bareboat Watch keeper: Intermediate (pre-requisite is Competent/International Crew and/or approx 6-11 days prior sailing experience on cruising yachts)
3) International Bareboat Captain: Advanced (pre-requisite is Competent/International Crew and/or approx 12-18 days prior sailing experience on cruising yachts)
