Windsurfing Holiday Tobago
Tobago is one of the Caribbeans unspoiled islands, it's fantastic beauty and natural charm slowly hypnotise the visitor into daydreams of staying long past their original return dates. At Pigeon Point the offshore Bucco reef has created an ideal tropical lagoon windsurfing set up. Acting as a breakwater the reef protects the Bon Accord Lagoon from the turbulence of the open Caribbean Sea.
The winds are normally East to North East from October to May, averaging 12 to 20 knots. During spring they switch East to South East, about 8 to 15 knots until the rainy season in July. There is always the occasional exceptional day in between. November to January have the most constant strong winds. The best intermediate and basic level learning conditions are in August to December, as low tide makes water conditions very smooth in the lagoon. June usually produces the strongest winds averaging 25 knots.

WORLD OF WATERSPORTS
World of Watersports is based at Club Pigeon Point Resort overlooking the windsurf beach of Pigeon Point. They stock Mistral boards and North rigs, and instruction is available for all levels. As Pigeon Point is a privately owned beach a small entrance fee has to be paid locally. Catamarans are also available for hire from the centre and the snorkelling is good for non-windsurfers. WOW run a shuttle bus to Pigeon Point for those clients staying at the Hilton.

HILTON TOBAGO - LITTLE ROCKLY BAY
The Hilton Tobago is a superb 4 star hotel with excellent facilities overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Set in 60 acres of tropical gardens all 144 rooms have a balcony with seaview. Facilities include a 18 hole PGA designed championship golf course, two pools, tennis courts, fitness centre with sauna, children's centre and babysitting service, three bars and two restaurants. Friday's Bar and Grill ia an open air restaurant located on the pool deck, and Coral Reef is a beautiful air-conditioned dining room offering a fine dining experience. All of the tastefully furnished rooms offer air-conditioning, TV, hairdryer, iron, coffee maker, mini bar and safe. World of Watersports who offer windsurfing, kitesurfing and scuba-diving are based at the hotel. The windsurfing is at Pigeon Point, which is a 10 minute drive by shuttle bus.
TROPIKIST BEACH HOTEL - PIGEON POINT
The Tropikist is situated on the beachfront on the leeward side of Tobago on the edge of Store Bay. Nestled in 5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, with friendly staff and a very relaxed feel this hotel offers a good value base with several restaurants and bars within walking distance. World of Watersports Windsurf Centre, based at Pigeon Point is a leisurely 30 minute walk away. All rooms have air-conditioning, oceanview and TV. Standard Rooms have a bathroom with shower and Superior rooms have bath and shower. There are also Deluxe Rooms available with hairdryer, iron and safe. There are two pools and children's pool, two restaurants offering local and international dishes, bar, disco, live entertainment, massage therapy and babysitting (advance notice required). The hotel can also help with island tours and car rental if you wish to explore the island further.
CONRADO BEACH HOTEL
Ideally situated on a beautiful beach at Crown Point next to Pigeon Point, this is a simple, friendly and well managed hotel. The hotel has a beach edge bar and restaurant with excellent sunset views and is just 5 minutes walk from the World of Watersports windsurf centre. 24 air-conditioned all have ensuite bathrooms with shower and local TV. We recommend the Superior Ocean View rooms at a small supplement, which have a balcony and an extended sun deck overlooking the sea.
COCO REEF RESORT - PIGEON POINT
Coco Reef is an immaculate property offering the highest standards of accommodation and service. Located on the white sands of Coconut Bay on the leeward side of the island, the wonderful staff here make this hotel one of the Caribbean's best kept secrets. It isn't a surprise that past visitors include celebrities such as Michael Caine and Pavarotti!
